A well-organized non-profit group. I've attended their conference in Washington D.C. and was thouroughly impressed. The experience inspired me to improve my portfolio of portraits. I'm sure I'll attend again.

The Atlanta Fine Arts League (AFAL)
AFAL is a small organization of artists providing professional visual artists, working in representational genres, opportunities for exhibitions, art and business education through workshops, critique sessions, discussion groups and to offer opportunities for community service through their art. Their professional artist members include painters, sculptors, print makers, designers and medical illustrators. They are known for their "Art from the Heart" program celebrating the lives of fallen American sodiers through portrait paintings.

The Art Place is a Cobb County Parks and Recreation art facility in East Cobb.

The Mable House Complex is a Cobb County Parks and Recreation art facility in South Cobb.

Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art offers classes for children in addition to a monthly scheduled life figure drawing session.

The Big Shanty Art Station in Kennesaw is a Parks and Recreation art facility serving North and West Cobb.

Kennesaw State University offers quality courses in art for the non-degree-seeking public in their continuing education department.
