Directions to the Studio

Shane McDonald Studios is located in the Artisan Resource Center for Fine and Functional Arts in Marietta, Georgia. The Center was a cabinet factory that was converted into artist's studios in the 1980's, and now it houses 25 studios in more than 43,000 square feet.

HOURS: The schedule for Shane and Matthew vary widely per week, though an average of 40-60 hours per week is spent in the studio. If you want to avoid the disappointment of arriving when the studio is closed, please call (770) 218-0676 to make an appointment or to see if Shane or Matthew will be in the studio when you are in the area.

Park in rear courtyard lot of building if space is not available at the main entrance. To get there, drive through the front parking lot of the Easy Rental along Hwy 41.

FROM I-75

1. From I-75 use exit 263 at South Marietta Parkway (Hwy 120 Loop South)
2. Turn West toward Southern Polytech University. (Traveling North on 75, make sure you take the westbound clover leaf.)
3. Make a left on Wylie Road less than a quarter-mile from I-75.
4. Make a right into the 4th driveway on right where you'll see a small sign to the Artisan Resource Center.
5. Drive along the alley behind the Marietta Commercial Plaza where you'll see the gray Artisan Resource Center.
6. Keep straight until you see the main entrance sign in the parking lot.
7. Walk in, and the studio will be at the end of the hall by the bathrooms.

FROM HWY 41

• From Hwy 41, turn eastbound on South Marietta Parkway, then make a right on Wylie Road. (See #4 above for the remaining directions.)
• OR turn into the south side driveway of the Easy Rental, about 1 mile south of the Big Chicken. This is about one block south of the Hwy 120 South Marietta Parkway Loop. (See #6 above for the remaining directions.)
