Allison’s classes cater to all skill levels, providing a supportive yet lively learning environment which also encourages experimentation. Weekly sessions cover essential techniques and methods to apply paint, make color mixing easier, and develop balanced compositions. Students work on various projects using references of still life, landscape, and figurative subjects.
Over the course of 6 weeks at Studio K2 of the Artisan Resource Center, students will work individually at their own pace, focusing on an expressive style of painting while applying the basic principles of art. Allison will do several short demonstrations during the 6 weeks.

All classes are held in studio K2 at the Artisan Resource Center. Please park at the South entrance.
Supplies
Allison typically teaches painting with the use of either oil or acrylic paints. Please bring some pencils and a small notebook for thumbnail sketches. Bring what you have to the first class and she can recommend other supplies.
